Beverli has been dancing since age 3 and perfomed in theatre since age 4, with an absolute passion for dance, movement dynamics and integrated studies, her lifelong journey touches: ballet 1981-1986 and 2003-2005; jazz 1983-1994 to IDTA teachers and 2003-2005; gymnastics 1987-1992; Tai Chi Chuan and Shaolin Kung Fu 1999-2002 and 2006, Yoga 1992 and 2001-2011 with 3 teacher certifications; trapeze (aerial) 2002-2005, and the classical South Indian Temple Dance of Bharat Natayam 2006-2010. Beverli developed her passionate career path in Oriental dance under the top dancers in the world and since working in the UK with Egyptian master musicians Sheikh Taha, Ibrahim and Ali Minyawi, Moroccan master flautist Aziz Chaabdis and as principal dancer for the London Gypsy Orchestra 2007-2009 perfomances including Covent Garden Opera House, the Union Chapel, London Fashion Week, Caesars Palace Beirut, Barcelo Cairo Pyramids Hotel, the Baxter and the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, Isle of White Festival, Heshk Beshk festival (Venice), etc. Beverli has been a member of the Planet Egypt production team (UK) for 5 years and produced three long-running solo theatrical storytelling productions as well as producing and choreographing for group theatre around the world including the UK, South Africa and India. Beveli has had long-running residencies in Middle Eastern Restaurants that produce weekly shows and is most recently resident dancer since 2011 at Mesopotamia Kurdish Restaurant (Cape Town) performing a traditional show every night in oryantal and folklore. Beverli also continues yoga and dance field research annually, is an author in dance and yoga and continues to train athletes and dancers at her Academy, nationally and internationally.
